THE GREEN RAY

CURRENT EXHIBITION |  PAST EXHIBITIONS

THE GREEN RAY

June 17 - July 10, 2005

Jason Glasser, Tim Laun, Caroline McCarthy, Geraldine Pastor Lloret, Bruno Peinado and John Roach

The artists were invited to make or propose works for this exhibition which took its title from the book by Jules Verne, who died 100 years ago this year. In the book (non-science fiction, Verne tells us) the Green Ray refers to an effect caused by the refraction of the rising sun, occuring over the sea in very clear conditions, and visible only to the pure in heart.
