TIM LAUN April 23 - May 23, 2004 For his second solo exhibition at Parker's Box, Tim Laun presented his patent-pending project for 'an original concept for a 360 degree video retrospective' known as The Favre Era Cyclorama in homage to the historic streak of 200+ consecutive games played by Green Bay Packer's star, Brett Favre. MAY 1-BROOKLYN EUPHORIA: In Collaboration with the consulates and Cultural Delegations of European member States, Parker's Box curated a selection of short video works by fifty artists, representing 23 of the 25 European members. The projection was held at Volume in Williamsburg, and was well attended from 6pm until 3am. MAY 30-PARKER'S BOX SUPERBOWL SUNDAY: A computerized projection of a face-off between the respective 1966 and 1996 championship Green Bay Packers Teams with a "Tailgating" barbeque on the sidewalk outside the gallery to close Tim Laun's solo show. |
